TROPICAL VICTORIAN

This Florida residence was built in 1903 by one of the partners of the community’s first hardware store and lumber yard, Knight & Wall. The large Queen Anne Victorian, finished completely in quarter-sawn oak, has six fireplaces, 12-foot ceilings and was designed by Sean in a well-traveled tropical style. The Once-Summer-Parlor, now Salon was painted in a cool, soothing blue to balance the dark wood trim and hot Florida days. Small Balinese elements were shipped in to lend their beauty to a tropical environment. The contemporary abstract artwork by Kenneth A. Huff inspires contemplations of sand, shells or an overall seaside experience.
